What is Supported Independent Living?
Supported Independent Living (SIL) is one of the most significant NDIS supports available — it provides funding for the help you need to live in your own home. This is different to the home itself; SIL covers the support workers who assist you there.
At Nurture and Care Solutions, we work closely with participants to design SIL arrangements that genuinely support your goals and preferences — whether that's solo living, shared accommodation, or somewhere in between.
SIL is funded under the **Core Supports** budget — *Assistance with Daily Life* (Support Category 1), and requires a formal assessment and SIL quote approved by the NDIS.

Who Is This Service For?
SIL is available to NDIS participants with high support needs who require daily assistance at home. A support needs assessment is required.
